| Trinidad and Tobago Birding Report |
Having previously visited parts of Africa and India, we felt that this year we would do something we had not done before – travel west. After a great deal of consideration we opted for the twin Islands of Trinidad and Tobago set in the southernmost part of the Caribbean archipelago, lying just 7 miles from the coast of Venezuela on the South America continent. The islands, although quite small, have a great diversity of habi... [more] |

Summary We had a fantastic time. The thought and planning that Mot-Mot Travel put into arranging our holiday was excellent and was a very personal service, with consideration for ensuring the travelling and transfer times worked out for the best and the hotels were matched to what we wanted to do. The hotels were all really good and all th... [more] |

| Jamaica Nature & Birding Tour Report |
Jamaica-Island of endemics, rum, coffee and Bob Marley. Gordon & Janet Ellis, 1-11 February 2008
Introduction-
We had long considered a trip to Jamaica as we like the Caribbean and it has 28 endemic birds of its own but had never taken the plunge due to Jamaica's poor reputation for violence and crime. However, after a long conversation with Shireen of the Mockingbird Hotel at the 2007 British Bird Fair we made the decision to go. We booked ... [more] |

| A very good birding/holiday event |
We just want you to know that we are home safe and sound. We also like you to know that our holiday was a tremendous success. Not in the least influenced by your effort and expertise. We experienced everything to be perfect and very punctual. We also enjoyed the sequence of the itinerary you suggested. Compliments to Mahase Ramlal... [more] |

| Lovely islands, lovely memories |
This has been our first visits to the Caribbean and we just fell in love with the birds, places and people. On a track above Blue Waters we were walking quietly watching the birds when this character came around the bend wearing shorts, t shirt and a pair of wellies which were 4 sizes too big - and swinging a machete. He stopped and chatted as if we were old friends! We never felt unsafe or threatened or hassled. Lovely islands, lovely memories, thanks again.

| Still dreaming about the banana bread! |
I just wanted to write to say thank you for organising such a wonderful trip for
us. Little Good Harbour is a really special place to stay, the staff were super
helpful and the cottages were perfect, just ideal for two people and absolutely
immaculate. Barbados is a lovely island, very different to what I had
imagined, we hired a car so we were able to do lots o... [more] |

| 146 new birds seen and 10 new cocktails evaluated |
We had a great time on this well organised itinerary. We enjoyed Asa Wright - the 2 offsite tours were perfectly balanced with the rest of the time spent on forest walks, lazing around and refreshing the minds - we met some lovely people around the communal dinner tables. Blue Waters was very different yet no less enjoyable ( we appreciated the ground floor room with access to the beach) and again the two tours with Newton George were great, we lazed on the beach, bird watched, went out for l... | Lots of wonderful birds |
I just wanted to thank you for all your help regarding our recent trip to
Trinidad and Tobago. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and saw lots of
wonderful birds. Asa Wright was very special and all the guides there helpful
and knowledgeable - we were both sad to leave. Our stay at Blue Waters was also
enjoyable and our trips out with Newton George were wonderful- he is such an
expert. Everything else was
really good and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I must s... [more] |

| Jamaica is as good, if not better than anywhere that we have been! |
We both had a great time and think that Jamaica is as good, if not better than, anywhere that we have been! Overall it was better than St.Lucia, Cuba,
Seychelles and Trinidad so I guess that tells you something. The bad press that
it gets seems totally unjustified from what we saw-we never felt threatened and
everyone we met, without exception, helpful and polite.
Lime Tree Farm-superb food, great accommodation and great company. Charlie,
Roger and Susie were very friend... [more] |

Just to let you know that we are back safe and sound from our trip to Trinidad & Tobago and that we had a really super holiday. Everything worked like clockwork, so thank you very much for arranging the flights, the airport collections, the transfers, the accommodation and the whole package for us so expertly! The Asa Wright Centre was excellent and a true birdwatchers paradise. The staff and guides were wonderful and we met some lovely guests too from both the UK and t... [more] |

| Worked like clockwork |
Just a note to say thank you for organising such a wonderful holiday for me. We arrived at Blue Waters Inn at around 23.15 local time. The next morning I decided I was buying the place - and the morning after - that I was buying it twice! The excellent and sickeningly knowledgeable Newton George took us on 3 great trips. Similarly, the Asa Wright/Trinidad was also great. All of your arrangements worked like clockwork and everyone was most kind and helpful. Thank you all again. Brian Smith, Bromley, Kent. |

| The highlight was Asa Wright Centre |
We had a good time in Trinidad and Tobago. The highlight was undoubtedly the Asa Wright Centre, and we'd have been happy to spend twice as long (or even more!) there if we could have. The setup is great, the people friendly and the wildlife all on the doorstep, quite literally. In the end we only had one trip away from the centre as it was so good there. Tobago offered better weather, and it was r... [more] |

| Asa Wright was wonderful |
We would like to thank you for arranging a wonderful holiday to Trinidad & Tobago. Asa Wright was wonderful, the experience of sitting on the verandah at 6am and hearing the dawn chorus and seeing the birds so near will stay in our memories forever. Everything went so well and when there was a problem in Barbados, your help and concern was very much appreciated. I would certainly recommend your travel company. Thank you, Rod & Margaret France, Yorks. |

| What a wonderful holiday we all had! |
Asa Wright far exceeded our expectations, it is such a beautiful place and the staff and the guides are lovely people. The birds were amazing and all the trips we had booked were enjoyable. All four of us felt that we would love to return one day. The hotel in Tobago was in a perfect position, quiet, peaceful and the beach right on your doorstep. We very much enjoyed our trips there with Newton George. Once again thank you for organising such a wonderful holiday. - Carmel Greenwood, Huddersfield. |

| 2 Fantastic Weeks in Trinidad & Tobago |
Everything about the trip was superb, the flights, accommodation, wonderful settings, the people, weather, food and the beautiful birds and wildlife we encountered. A special mention has to go to the great guide we had, Dave Ramlal at Asa Wright Centre, such knowledge and experience. The one that will always stay with me was the giant leatherback turtles on the beach in Trinidad, words cannot express how magic that experience was - Lorraine & John King, Billericay, Essex |

| Wonderful Time |
We had a wonderful time at each of the places we stayed and all the guides and drivers you arranged for us were excellent. We managed to see the Pawi as well as the turtles at Grande Riviere. We are very grateful for the efficient and effective way you arranged everything which made it much more memorable. We would be delighted to go again at some time in the future and will be very happy to recommend MotMot to anyone who is interested - David & Lesley Knass, Stockport |

| The Diving was Excellent |
We have had a fantastic holiday. Tobago is a wonderful place, with so much character and after a couple of days we managed to get into the local pace of life. Everyone was really friendly and the taxi driver who did both transfers was lovely. I have never had a hug goodbye from a taxi driver before! As we had lots of time to get to the airport, he stopped at the river to show us the caymans and did a little detour to show us Scarborough when we said we had'nt managed to visit it. The diving w... | A Very Special Inside Knowledge of T & T |
Thanks to MotMot Travel, and your very special inside knowledge of Trinidad & Tobago, we had a marvelous holiday. At our first hotel we got hooked on birdwatching and snorkelling. At our second it was Planters Punch and Pina Colada. High up at the rainforest in Trinidad we had a wonderful time relaxing, enjoying the wildlife and swimming in a natural swimming pool. At all three we sampled local and international cuisine and found the staff charming and helpful - Cyril & Judy Darby, Northampton |

| A big 'thank you' for organising such a splendid holiday for us. It certainly exceeded all our expectations and all the guides were first class.
