We had a great time at all three locations, each getting maximum points for location. Although the wet season lingered, it didn't effect our itinerary one iota, we had sunshine when we needed it, the evening trip to the swamp to see the scarlet ibis being an example. Although we are avid bird watchers, we are not twitchers, so the mixture of locations suited us perfectly, and we were enthralled by our trip to the Pitch Lake, as much as our visit to Asa Wright. As for the turtles at Grand Riviere, what can one say, quite stunning, and the day before the official season started as well!
