| This very special hotel is set in the Blue Mountains at an elevation of 3100ft, with panoramic views of Kingston and the Caribbean Sea far below. Built in the style of a 19th century plantation on the site of an original coffee plantation dating back to 1780, there are 12 elegant cottages ranging from studio suites to a four bedroom house set into the hillside. All are beautifully furnished with hand-carved antiques, mahogany four-poster beds and delicate muslins. The restaurant serves some of the finest nouvelle Jamaican food on the island and there is an infinity pool, Aveda Concept Spa and beautifully landscaped gardens spread over several acres.
