| Young Island is a 35-acre triangular shaped island, 200 yards and a 5 minute launch ride off the southern coast of St Vincent. It rises gradually to an altitude of about 150ft above sea level and is criss-crossed with walking trails. This is a top class resort with just 30 airy cottages scattered through the gardens, all with sea views and some with private pools. Wonderful meals are served under gazebos by the beach and there are two bars, one of which is just a short swim from the beach. Sailaway packages, where you can enjoy a few nights exploring the Grenadines on board one of the hotel's private yachts with your own private captain and cook are also available. |
