Day 1
Fly to Tobago. Transfer to The Blue Waters Inn for 7 nights.
Day 2
Free to relax and unwind on the beach, to go snorkelling, diving or explore the beautiful surroundings and nature trails.
Day 3
Trip on Glass-bottom boat to Little Tobago, a seabird sanctuary 2km offshore. On the way you will see the full splendour of the coral reef and have an opportunity for snorkelling.
Day 4
Fee Day.
Day 5
A full day around the island tour which will include visits to various sights of natural, cultural, historical or birding interest and either a restaurant or picnic lunch.
Day 6
A guided walk into the Tobago Forest Reserve, including a visit to the Argyll Falls.
Day 7
Free day.
Day 8
A short flight to Trinidad and transfer to the world famous Asa Wright Nature Centre for 5 nights.
Day 9
Free day to enjoy the estate, beginning with a guided tour of the various trails traversing this rich and diverse wildlife sanctuary. Later on you may explore the trails on your own, take a dip in a refreshing natural pool or simply enjoy watching the birds from the magnificent verandah.
Day 10
A full day excursion to Nariva on the Atlantic East Coast. You may visit the wetlands, marshes and swamp forests by boat or kayak. This is home to more than 200 species of birds as well as a variety of small mammals including anteaters, porcupines, monkeys, the endangered ocelot and manatee.
Day 11
Trip to Caroni Bird Sanctuary, an extensive area of mangrove swamp and lagoon where you will take an evening boat tour to see the breathtaking sight of flocks of stunning Scarlet Ibis returning to their roosting areas.
Day 12
A morning visit to Dunston Cave to see the most accessible colony of Oilbirds in the world.
Day 13
Transfer to Grande Riviere for 2 nights at Mt.Plaisir Estate Hotel. The beautiful beach here is the largest nesting site for Leatherback turtles in the Western Hemisphere and a wonderful area for birdwatching.
Day 14
Free day to enjoy the beach, river and surrounding area.
Day 15
Transfer to airport for short flight to Tobago, check in for UK flight and then enjoy the afternoon in Tobago before flying home in the evening.
Day 16
Arrive in UK in early morning.
